Healthy Solutions For Your Veins
Meet Gail
Registered Nurse Sclerotherapist
I started treating leg and spider veins in 1994. I know, that's a long time! I began my training at an Atlanta vein center that specialized in treating varicose and spider veins. It is there I honed my skill in the art of performing leg vein injections, also known as sclerotherapy. In 2005, I started working as an independent consultant for a dermatology practice and eventually a vascular practice.
Over the years I have successfully treated thousands of clients with leg and spider vein problems. Through my experience, I have recognized the importance of treating the problem at its source, in order to achieve an optimal aesthetic outcome, reduce symptoms, and provide long lasting results while slowing the progressive nature of veins.
In my years of doing this, from time to time, I hear; "I have had treatment before and it didn't work, is this something that can really work?" I always welcome that question and I love the challenge of proving that treatment can work. I have successfully treated many that have not had success with previous treatment. I am passionate about what I do and I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you, and help get you started on the road to getting rid of your leg and spider veins.
I also work in the hospital as an interventional radiology nurse. When I am not working, I love spending time outdoors with my sweet pooch, Gracie. She is an energetic lab/shepherd rescue dog. We especially love camping, hiking, paddle boarding and fetching tennis balls.

Why Sclerotherapy?
Treatment
Sclerotherapy effectively treats varicose and spider veins. It's often considered the treatment of choice for small varicose veins. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades. After sclerotherapy, treated veins fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
